Mother Nature, She Loves Us, She Loves Us Not…

As was predicted, the snow melted up at the top of Grouse…BUT it did snow enough to give us a decent covering before Mother Nature decided she’d had enough fun playing with my emotions and it was time to warm things up and wash away my excitement. This is somewhat of a ‘normal’ occurrence for this time of year; although the winters are definitely not like they used to be about 10-15 years ago. And if all the scientists are correct, we have messed things up pretty bad and might have reached the point of no return.

I truly hope we haven’t ruined our relationship with Mother Nature and we still are blessed with an abundance of snow for the upcoming winter shred season and many more decades to come. However, we have definitely tainted our relationship and now must work hard to repair what damage we as humans have done to our one and only planet.

I encourage all and any who appreciate what a beautiful and amazing planet we have the privilege to occupy, to make an extra effort to help maintain our planet for our generation, but more importantly for the future generations. Reduce, Recycle and Reuse as much as humanly possible, as that is the humane way in which we as humans should treat this planet that Mother Nature has so lovingly shared with us.

Where did these blogs come from? I was bored so i started aimlessly cruising around Grouse Mountains user friendly, eye catching website and came across these dandy posts... May i suggest a link in the mountain report or something of that nature...?

Glad you like the site. The blog was a first take on communicating with our park riders, but byop did a great job last year with that, so we didn't end up telling you all much about this Park Sessions blog. And now, there are exciting new changes about to take place with it, so again... not so much promotion here. Stay tuned. Sign up for email or be sure to stay connected on the byop facebook page and we'll update you any day now.
